New Building
Update - July 2020
We have now been granted planning permission to build our new church building. Demolition of the old site will hopefully begin in the Autumn of this year.
Our rough time-line regarding the build looks like this…
Demolition of existing building – Autumn 2020

The number of people attending services on a Sunday has continued to grow and the existing building is unable to accommodate the congregation. For the last two years the church has met in the main hall of Leftwich Primary School. Whilst the church is grateful for the kindness of the school for giving it access to its facilities, meeting there is not a long-term solution to our needs.
Original plans were submitted to build on a small portion of Leftwich Green. Planning permission was granted in May 2017. The church has been waiting for a decision to be made by Cheshire West and Chester Council on the asset transfer and currently still have no answer. As a result of this delay, the church has decided to put forward plans to redevelop its current site.

The proposed new building will still be able to properly accommodate all current church activities and Sunday services. It will also offer modern kitchen facilities, increased meeting space and a flexible layout that will facilitate use by the church and other organisations, serving the local community.
Assuming planning permission can be obtained, it is anticipated that the demolition of the existing building and subsequent new build would commence in the middle of 2020. After the construction work begins the church would like to continue to offer our existing services to the community and are searching for suitable venues to cover the period when it will be without a building.
